Business Committees

Executive -The SARMA Executive Committee, comprised of the Board Chair, President and Executive Vice President, is charged with acting on behalf of the Board between quarterly meetings to ensure that decisions critical to the Association's day-to-day operations are made in a timely manner.

Strategic Planning -The mission of the Strategic Planning Committee is to develop SARMA's long-range vision and work closely with the Association's Board, Officers and other Business Committees to implement this vision.

Finance-The mission of the Finance Committee is to develop and oversee the Association's annual budget in conjunction with the SARMA Treasurer and Board of Directors.

Nominations-The mission of the Nominations Committee is to identify and recruit high-quality leaders for the organization and to recommend such candidates to the Board of Directors for its consideration.

Rules-The mission of the Rules Committee is to maintain the Association's Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, Conflict of Interest, and Ethics policies, and work closely with the SARMA Secretary and Board of Directors to perform periodic reviews to ensure that they support current SARMA missions and needs.

Membership & Outreach -The mission of the Membership & Outreach Committee is to attract new members, oversee the annual renewal process and maintain the Association's membership lists.The Committee is also responsible for maintaining connectivity with members to seek their input on the Association s programs and policies.

Fundraising -The mission of the Fundraising Committee is to manage the Association's Corporate Sponsorship Program. This includes the development of necessary marketing materials and an ongoing program of outreach to industry.

Policy - The mission of the Policy Committee is to develop and promulgate the Association's external policy initiatives.
