Anthony Beverina

Anthony Beverina is the Co-founder and President of Digital Sandbox, a firm that provides analytic tools and information products to government agencies and large enterprises, enabling them to optimize their strategic, policy, and budgetary decisions based on risk analytics. At Digital Sandbox, Mr. Beverina is responsible for setting the company's strategy for existing and emerging analytic risk management markets and for establishing product-based solutions for Homeland Security and Public Safety agencies at all levels of government. He was the driving force behind the establishment of Digital Sandbox's Risk Analysis Center, a suite of software and services that enable public safety risk managers to assess, prioritize, and manage their risk and needs. Mr. Beverina established Digital Sandbox's State and Local Government practice and has overseen its growth from early pilot implementations to a nationwide ecosystem of interconnected risk management, preparedness, and intelligence fusion programs. Mr. Beverina was also instrumental in advising the Department of Homeland Security on policies and procedures to transform its Homeland Security Grant Programs through implementation of risk analytics to help allocate billions in grant dollars on the basis of risk.
Mr. Beverina is a well-known authority in risk management, having pioneered analytic risk management solutions for Federal, State, and local agencies. He has an 18-year track record of leading clients through the transformation from patchwork tools and inconsistent consultation into results-driven, technology-enabled analytic risk management programs. Mr. Beverina has orchestrated the application of risk analytics in high-intensity operational environments for the military, Special Forces, intelligence, law enforcement, and first responder organizations. As a recognized industry expert, Mr. Beverina is a regular speaker and advisor to government and corporate organizations on risk management, preparedness, and risk-based funding allocation strategies.
Prior to founding Digital Sandbox, Anthony established and led multimillion dollar Modeling and Simulation business units at Sonalysts, Inc. and Kaman Sciences Corporation. He holds a Master of Science degree in Material Science from the University of Virginia and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
