Andrew G. Harter

Andrew Harter is an Intelligence Officer (Assessments) for the Defense Intelligence Agency of the U.S. Department of Defense. His current assignment is as Team Lead for Methodology and Capabilities in the Assessment Division of the Defense Intelligence Operations Coordination Center, where he serves in the Modeling and Support Branch. He previously served as Associate National Agency Coordinator for the California Governor's Office of Homeland Security and as an Intelligence Analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Counterterrorism Division. He has earned a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Business Management from Mulhlenberg College. He also serves as the Chairman of Common Knowledgebase Initiatives for the Security Analysis and Risk Management Association and is an Adjunct Professor for Intelligence Studies with American Military University. Mr. Harter was published in 2007 in the Risk Monograph by the George Mason University School of Law, Critical Infrastructure Protection Program, and also has an upcoming publication in December 2010 by Routledge Press. He has served as a presenter on risk, lexicon, and assessment methodology topics at multiple government and industry conferences.
